Our Sky Ranch governing documents require that the Association approve all proposed architectural changes before any work is started. This process is essential for maintaining a pristine neighborhood.
Every homeowner must contact the Community Manager and the Association’s Architectural Control Committee (ACC) when considering a project outside their home that may involve, but is not limited to:
Every homeowner must contact the Community Manager and the Association’s Architectural Control Committee (ACC) when considering a project outside their home that may involve, but is not limited to:
- Painting the exterior or trim
- New front door or screen
- Redesigning or installing landscaping, irrigation, and/or lighting
- Constructing a fence, wall, and/or gate
- Adding a secondary structure
- Installing solar panels, camera, or a satellite antenna
- Exterior changes not in a private zone
How to Submit an Application for Review:
- Access the ACC Application on the community website or newsletter. There is an online portal where residents can apply for home modifications digitally and a paper version. If you are unable to access the printable form, there are some printed at the HOA office.
- Provide the Following Project Information:
- A copy of the lot survey (included with your closing documents) showing the proposed location of the project.
- Project Dimensions and Elevations: Diagrams or drawings that clearly show the size and height of the project.
- Materials Description: A list of the materials that will be used.
- Color Information (if applicable): Include brand names and specific color names or numbers.
- Submit Payment (if applicable): Mail or drop off the required check to the designated address.
- The design review board shall have up to 30 days to review and respond to any completed submittals. An approval or denial letter will be emailed/mailed to the Homeowner’s address on file.
- Work must be completed within 12 months from the date of approval. When the work is complete, please send your Community Manager, Barbara Kill, an email reporting the completion of the project. If the approved work is not complete within 12 months, another design review application must be submitted and approved.
